Using the newest method should make this work flawlessly.

 

 

*Not for PS3 users - Xbox only*

 

 

 

New method courtesy of Watch DragZ which is quicker and much shorter.

 

 

Put on any dlc clothing.

 

 

1. Set your spawn location to Last Location outside of a clothes store.

 

 

2. Go to story mode and then the dashboard.

 

 

 

3. Once on the dashboard, go to your Hard Drive's storage.

 

 

 

4. Delete the DLC for your selected combination.

 

 

 

 

5. Start up GTA 5, Enter Story Mode,  then start any Online closed session.

 

 

 

 

 

6. A message should appear, press A and you should to go to the Xbox Games Store.

 

 

 

 

 

7. Re-download the deleted DLC.

 

 

 

 

 

8. Exit the Xbox Games Store and you should join your closed session.

 

 

 

 

9. Once Online, your character might have a different appearence. Ignore this.

 

 

 

 

 

10. Use your clothing combination that you have decided.

 

 

 

 

 

11. Go to Story Mode, then the dashboard.

 

 

 

12. Go back online and your character should spawn and have the desired effect.
